Even if the mood regarding Germany’s economic development in 2019 was generally rather reserved or even slightly depressed in some industrial sectors, we can look back with pride on a successful 2019. Because the carefully planned and continuity oriented development of our ALFOTEC Group is making good progress. Also in technical terms.

ALFOTEC Happel + Fey proves its innovative strength
Our group member ALFOTEC Happel + Fey from Hessen supported a well-known German industrial company in the development of a driverless transport system. The special thing: With this innovative new product heavy loads of up to 1,200 kg can be transported.

ALFOTEC Saxony expands and doubles number of employees

Do you remember? In 2015 we founded a new group member, ALFOTEC Sachsen GmbH, about 30 km east of Dresden in Großröhrsdorf. Originally, 5 employees manufactured customized conveyor systems there. Due to the increasing demand also for our standard conveyor technology products, we have extended the modern production hall by 180 m2 to almost 800 m2 and have doubled the number of employees in the meantime.

Positive news from Poland: ALFOTEC founds new production site

There are also positive reports from Poland: In January 2019 we founded ALFOTEC Poland Sp. z o.o. with its headquarters near Katowice. On a production area of 340 m2 6 highly qualified employees manufacture our conveying products in industrial quality. If business develops accordingly – and there are many signs that this is the case – the Polish location will be further expanded or developed in terms of production area and number of employees. In this respect we are looking optimistically into the future and will – as you are used to – keep you regularly informed about news within the ALFOTEC Group.
